Requesting organisation: Université des Sciences, des Techniques et des Technologies de Bamako. The project will be executed by a consortium led by ICRA. Consortium members are Montpellier SupAgro, Rain and Metameta.

Contexte

 Contribuer à l’effectivité et l’efficacité de la gestion intégrée des ressources en eau (GIRE), y compris l’intégration du genre aux niveaux international, national et local, dans le but d’augmenter la productivité de l’eau pour une meilleure sécurité alimentaire, par le renforcement des institutions de formation post-secondaire et leur offre de formation régulière et professionnelle continue, sensible au genre et en répondant aux compétences requises par le marché de l’emploi.

Objetivos

The project will contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of integrated water resources management (IWRM), including gender, mainstreaming at the international, national and local levels, with the aim of increasing water productivity for better food security. To do so, post-secondary training institutions will be strengthened by and providing them with regular and professional training that is gender-sensitive and responds to the skills required by the labour market in the area.
