Agribusiness coachingAgribusiness coaches or facilitators are professionals supporting processes of interactive learning and co-innovation in agribusiness clusters and value chains. They can be consultants, employees of business support services, producer organisations, or business associations.ICRA provides tailor-made training and follow-up support to these professionals and their organisations, with particular attention to those competencies needed to facilitate interactive learning and co-innovation in the private-public partnerships that lead to development. ICRA's activities in agribusiness coachingFrom 2012 to 2016 ICRA is involved in IFDC's 2SCALE Project, Towards Strategic Clusters in Agribusiness through Learning in Entrepreneurship. The project will partner with national and multinational agro-companies to improve efficiency and sustainability of supported agribusiness clusters. ICRA is responsible for Capacity Strengthening activities in 2SCALE. ICRA has two regional capacity coordinators for this project in Africa.In the recent past, for IFDC CASE, ICRA has been involved in the establishment of national, inter-institutional teams in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Mali, that design, organise and implement capacity building services for multi-actor teams involved in grass-roots agribusiness clusters and in developing plans for R&D activities for these clusters.
